Sponsor

Marcus, Michelle and I are going to see a potential sponsor a little later in the morning. Jolanda and I had spoken to them a few months ago, but unfortunately nothing came out of that.

It's quite a tough sell asking for sponsorship for sterilisation here. It seems that there isn't a lot of emphasis on that, despite the fact that for example, Singaporeans are known to be big buyers of food for community cats. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Anyone noticed that there is not a single picture of corporate executives with their pets? None of my senior management has pets and some even dare to tell me what evil thing they will do to a cat. :(( I don;t care if they are my CEO or President or GM or VPs, I tell them I will report them and make sure they are punished!

By the way, will you be selling the photobook this sunday? I hope you will because I want to buy 2 books.

What a shame. We did do an article in Millionaire magazine and they did have a few well heeled people with their pets - then you have Marcus and Michelle and I with the community cats!

More companies must have realised that there is money for be made from people who feed cats. In the last year or so, I notice that more convenience stores now carry cat food. I guess people who buy cat food from such stores must be "irregular" feeders - those who take pity on a hungry cat whom they come across on their way home from a late night party - rather than "regular" ones who probably buy their supplies at lower prices from pet shops. This observation says one thing: that there are many people who care for cats, and will probably not want to see them die at AVA. So when town councils say that there are more cat haters than cat lovers, they are really justifying their own power decisions rather than making an informed statement.
