Cat removed from adopter
I went for a meeting with Marcus and Michelle this afternoon, then met Shireen at the adopter's block. He let us in, and we took Bombay back. The good thing is that Bombay looks fine, but the adopter had been behaving in an increasingly strange manner (not answering phone calls, claiming no one was home when someone was, etc). In addition, Bombay's sibling misses him. It's not that adopters are expected to be at the beck and call of fosters of course, but it was very unusual that he said he did not receive any phone calls when before the adoption he was very prompt with calls, and then that the person inside would not open the door when Shireen and the adoption team member dropped by yesterday. The story also appeared a little suspicious and made everyone uncomfortable leaving the cat with him. He did let us take the cat back without any problem though.
It was still raining when I left so no flyering today. I went instead to try and buy the plastic covering for our bookmarks, which I managed to buy after trying two different places. We'll need them in anticipation of this weekend's AVA event.
