Indeed a heartwarming story, compared to call to kill cats when our singaporeans find scratches on their cars they attribute to cats!

Wah.... how the cat got himself stuck there?

I shrug to think of the consequences should the car owner started the engine unknownly....

Looks like I have to check the engine prior to starting the engine....

I have heard of kittens in the engine compartments of army vehicles that were either severely injured (even decapitated) or killed when the vehicles were started. I guess it is good for army camps to apply TnRM where there is a large population of cats and to practise hitting the bonnets or checking into the engines before starting, a drill not unlike checking our boots for centipedes where we were out in fieldcamps.

I deeply doubt singaporean car owners would choose to save the cat & dismantle their own precious car! Our people here kick-up such a big fuss over felines resting on top of their car & wanted them to be removed, dun think the word 'humane' exists in their dictionary in the first place.
