At least now he lets the cat of of th bag and admits he let the cats roam 100m!
I wonder if the collars he said he put on the cats (which I do not see in the photo) repel dogs, aggressive feral cats, impatient drivers and cat-hating neighbours when they find poo in their gardens?

100m is quite far...isn't that considered roaming the streets!

How do you enforce the rule that 4 cats are allowed out only 100m from the house and that they would get home by 11 pm? These four cats know precise distance and has perfect timing. 100m is far enough to be caught by pest control. If a collar is what separates a home cat from a stray (so it would not be picked up for culling), I am sure many community cats would be wearing one soon (courtesy of care-givers).

Last month, we found 5 cats with collars in our estate - all abandonees or hopelessly lost!
2 males were sterilized that we sent for tipping. One female was found to be already sterilized when she was under anaesthesia.
It is sad he felt indignant about constructive reply.

100m? All 4 cats, all at once? How can he monitor where they go? Does he have an ID tag with the collar or just some collar that says "Am I cute?" An ID Tag with something like - If found, please call XXX at Tel No XXX, would be good, I think. If its just a collar with a little bell, it would serve little purpose.

It sounds ridiculous his roaming 5 cats can keep up with their curfew hours - be home by 11.00 p.m.
If his cats love outdoors, then for their safety, he can walk them on a leash, like my cat Lucky. But then it is difficult to walk all the 5 cats on a leash ... wondering if he have the time to walk them separately! Hahaha!
:-D
