Abandoned cat

In a twist, I spoke with a caregiver yesterday evening who mentioned that she saw someone dumping a cat under her block in the middle of the night. She knows who he is, she knows where he lives, but here's the thing - she can't find the cat! She's waiting a day or two to see if the cat shows up so she has better proof. She said if not, it's going to be his word against hers, without even the dumped cat in sight!

Yes - usually it's the other way around though, we find an abandoned cat but can't find the person who dumped it.

NVM, I believe in Karma, so whichever nut does that will get it's retribution! How i wish the govt could fund a place i mean a big place where we can home all the community cats! Feed, take care and have a in house doctors to take care of all of em! And volunteers to clean the place!! Hopefully one day! They will have all this!

Lilmumie, a shelter is not a good solution because there comes a time when your shelter is full, and there are still many cats reproducing out on the street. If you can tackle the root cause of the problem through sterilisation, then less cats are born, less cats need to go into shelters, and it's cheaper and more effective. For more information on the No-Kill, no shelter approach, click on the McKee project under links.
