I used to work with the Cat Welfare Society for 6 years and really enjoyed my time working with them. I am now taking a break but will continue to blog about cats and other related information! Any views here do not represent the views of CWS.

The cat trapped in the escalator was released this morning! They opened the escalator and the cat came right out. They didn't even need a cat trap.

Wonderful! Any idea how is the cat's condition? Hope someone give it a good meal and wash!:)
Skinny and dirty, but otherwise fine. I heard he was ravenous!
That's great! The escalator people and the LTA officer are such a different kettle of fish, more advanced than the usual, "it's just a cat, who cares" garden variety eh?
Hail the LTA! As a civil servant myself, may I suggest we all send thank you messages to the LTA so that they know their efforts are appreciated. This will encourage and remind them of their good deeds in case a similar incident happens in the future. I wonder how many people had complained of the escalator being inoperable and the pressure they were under to turn it on once more for the whining public...
Anonymous, I did that. And they sent a nice note to thank me for thanking them and said they would convey my thanks to the officer I spoke with.I totally agree with you - if someone gives good service, we ought to thank them and not complain only when we have bad service.
