'Attack cat'

This woman complained to the town council - I was told that there were cats in the void deck by the TC. When I called her, it turns out that she was complaining about a cat on the third to fifth floor of a block and it looks like it wants to attack her. I asked her to describe it and she said it looks like it wants to jump on them. It turns out that the cat likes to follow them around. When they try and shoo it, the cat just sits there and looks at them. Once it gave her sister a scratch as she walked by hence the complaint that she had been attacked. This happened months ago and the cat has not 'attacked' since.

She also said there was another 'scary' cat at a nearby block. I asked her how it was scary, and she said it just looked frightening.

I explained that cats rarely attack for no reason. I said the cat might be trying to play with them and hence may have scratched her sister by accident.

The chinese whisper syndrome with TC - complaint gets distortedly blown up just from complainant to ?one TC officer.
How many cats have been wrongfully killed in the past?

I wonder if town council officers are obliged to look into every complaint? or just those they think they can do something about? If someone calls the town council to say that s/he wants a cat removed from a nearby block because it looks frightening, the person handling the complaint should be in a position to say something like "I suggest you do not look at the cat next time". Town councils ought to have a system to distinguish 'good' complaints from 'bad' ones.

In an ideal world, yskat, people would do just that - distinguish genuine complaints from frivilous ones. Unfortunately, not every individual likes to take the time to contemplate the situation at hand, and not every individual is equipped with the social skills or EQ, to deal with complaints effectively, esp, may I add, Town Council officers and bureaucrats!! And even more obviously so, when it comes to complaints against non-voting lifeforms life animals.

Yskat that made me laugh and wish that was what happened. Mr Giggles is right unfortunately. I am going to post some of the suspected 'attack' cats in a moment.
