Cat at the vet

Cat at the vet

Here's the cat that fell and which cannot go back on the street. Rebecca, the adoption volunteer and I went to see her this afternoon to see what her chances are.

The vet says she will always have a limp. She is kind of toothless and you can see she's been through a lot. Poor cat.

Poor girl. She looks quite pretty but has a very sad face. She must have suffered and gone through a lot. Hope someone will adopt and take proper care of her forever. If she is limping, she might not survive in this harsh environment. People might abuse her and dogs will attack her. And since she is toothless, she must be quite old and frail. I had a stray cat who is also toothless. I feed him Friskies mixed grill canned food for adults and kittens because the food is very soft. I also have to supervise him because he takes 20 minutes to finish one tin of canned food. Just have to be very patient.

It's no good to put the cat in a farm. My friend has 4 cats in a shelter home and 2 died of kidney disease. The owner of the shelter home did not feed them properly and the condition of the premises is quite bad.

We're trying to get her adopted. Someone has offered to sponsor her in a boarding place till we can find her a home.

She's doing well - or at least is on the way to recovery we hope.
