They did dump the cats

The TC officer admitted to the AVA officer I spoke to that the pest control DID dump the cats somewhere else apparently. Balls now in the TC's court - do they return the cats? If they don't and they are not apologetic, then we may have no choice but to make this public.

i don't understand this. they take cats from point A and put them at point B? to what purpose? i hope that they didn't pick some far away deserted place to dump the poor cats.

is this the practice of pest control companies? this is outrageous! the TC has a moral obligation to make sure the cats are dealt with humanely.

This is serious as it is dumping a problem into some other officer's tuff. And did the officer do a proper investigations into the complaint and were the cats the "right" ones? This officer has to be held responsible for increasing cat population in another place. If not, then the TC's officer ought to refund the waste of TC's fund that is paid by residents.

Hmmm...I wonder if this might explain why (in this week alone) at least 3 new cats graced our cat colony with their presence.

This may be why quite a few people have noticed new sterilised adult cats appearing as has been pointed out. We need this to stop if this is the case.

We have to stop TC officers from removing cats without proper investigations and not let them "resign" to "ok next time we will make sure the cats get killed in AVA lor."

Yes - and ask them to try and SOLVE the problem, not look for a quick band aid solution.

We've seen a new cat here as well - tipped eared. Could this practice is wide spread among the TCs?

This pest control company is not reliable and why the TC is still using their services. What's their motive?

Will it help by dumping cats from one point to the other? Cats are territorial animals and if the pest control company dumped these cats to another territory, it will cause more problems and unhappiness to other residents in other estates.

This case should be investigated by the AVA and TC and appropriate action should be taken against the pest control company.

It's possible Mrs Budak. Quite a few people have said they suspect this.

Aunty Wing some of the pest control companies think that they're being kind by not killing the cat and so I can't really blame them because they haven't thought the thing through. It DOES cause problems though with abandonment and other issues.

Two nights ago, when I went to feed my cats behind the Bin Centre, I saw 2 new strays attacking my 4 cats. They are not sterilised and don't know where on earth they came from. These 2 cats are very hungry. A hungry man is an angry man. Same goes to the cat.
So they fight over food and the whole place became so noisy. Now, I know who dumped the cats.... The cats are not nuisance. The real culprits are the ones who dumped them here.

Aiyoh... someone dumped 3 young kittens at the lift lobby. These poor fellows were crawling around the lifts and crying for their mummy. It was drizzling quite heavily in the morning and they were hungry and wet. They are abt two and a half weeks old. One of the kittens has injuiries on the face. I hope the pest control company did not dump them here.

There must be nice PC folks who do not want to kill cats. Why don't PC just say they don't want stinking job like this?
Let the TC officals and complainants bring the cats to be put down.

Sometimes of course they are dumped by their ex-owners who don't want them anymore, but SOME dumping I suspect is by pest control.

I have heard of some companies that refuse to trap cats actually.

Maybe we can pay pest control to help trap cats for sterilization. This might further deter PC to help TC to trap for killing.
