Venue for a workshop

I'm trying to find a place to hold a TNRM workshop. We plan to hold a large public one later in the year, but we also realise that some people have shown an interest in attending a session. However none of these people know enough other people to form a group to hold a workshop at their place. I'm trying to contact CCs and other places to see if we can hold a session there, but if anyone knows a place that isn't too expensive and is quite central, let me know?

Hi Dawn. Suggest you consider condos with large function rooms. Residents can book them for free if given advance notice. Refreshments can be on a voluntary basis. Anyone willing to contribute something, can bring enough to cater to about a third of the number of people attending. This because together with other food and drinks contributions, you'll have too much left over if everyone brought enough of one thing for everyone.

Thanks Mr Giggles. Anyone volunteering their condo? So far, it seems CCs charge anywhere from $21 - $60 an hour.

Most schools adhere to 5 day work week, and some do offer their facilities for public use such as the school field during weekends. Maybe possible to request for lecture room facilities by contacting the school and more likely to succeed if there's a CWS member teacher whom will be accountable for the premises.
