A letter from the man who is always complaining about pet cats and community cats and mixing up the two - plus he continues to trap and trap the cats even though as I understand it, the cats are mostly sterilised in his neighbourhood.
He also mentioned in our email correspondence that he would continue trapping and killing the cats even when I offered to speak to him and his neighbours about TNRM.

SITNews: Have rules for how cats are kept
NEUTERED or sterilised cats may not multiply, but they cause the same nuisances as those that are not.
Cats have territorial instincts, which is one reason why they fight in the dead of the night, disturbing people's sleep.
Such problems increase with the rise in number of cats. Their numbers must be controlled instead of talking about the rights of strays.
Sad to say, many pet owners do not understand their responsibilities to their pets as well as other human beings. How many cat lovers understand the frustration and anger of those having to clear cats' faeces and urine?
What do they have to say about cats that go about stealing food? Most of the stray cats suffer from malnutrition as they do not get sufficient food. They steal when they get a chance as it is easier than catching a mouse.
I have to fumigate my home twice to get rid of cat fleas though I do not keep cats.
Currently, there are no rules regarding the keeping of cats. I urge the authorities to come up with some regulations.
