We're planning to have a little get together to celebrate our Anniversary on 18th November. We're trying to see where we ought to go and are trying to find a restaurant. We hope you keep the day free if you can make it!

Wonderful! We'll definitely find a place with vegetarian options, but not sure about vegan. Will try our best!

Gokul in Little India (upper dickson road) has a variety of Indian (thosai, punjabi dishes, naan etc.) and local (mee of various kinds, mutton rendang etc.) free of onion and garlic, and most items are without dairy either - or you can at least ask for them to be dairy free I think. Weekends (Fri-Sun), they have buffets for 9 dollars or so for lunch and dinner - weekdays only a la carte. Except for the raita, the buffets used to be pretty much all vegan, while not advertised as such.
They can also cater if you want to do this event elsewhere. Look for Lakshmi, the manageress-boss.

most chinese veggie restaurants are also vegan by default (yes?) as there is hardly any milk derivative used in most chinese cuisine?

Thanks Veggie Gourmet - we're probably going to find a place that has options for everyone and is the most central.
