Wow!

I wager if the people who bought them would write in to the gov abt the cat ban, they'd get a min shake up.

Can CWS insert a survey/info sheet with the cat house package you think??

Does your cat really sleep in the cat house? My 3 cats walked in and out but just don't stay there. They were playing and scratching the house whole night and i hardly get any sleep. I had to fold it down and know what.. they actually prefered to sleep on top of it.. And i actually bought another set for spare.. now who wants it for double the price...
Just kidding :)

E_Cat actually I heard that they already support another charity so they may not want to help other charities out. I heard that another charity was turned down when they asked for some donation of furniture.

My cats walk in and out. One of my dogs (who thinks she's a cat) goes in too.

Dawn,
I was thinking more along the simple lines of info gathering, like a survey in aid of the appeal against the HDB cat ban.

Would that work? It wouldn't be asking for corporate sponsorship, but just a collaboration to get info.

It's certainly a good idea! :) No harm giving it a shot and asking - though they might be worried about getting involved in something that might be viewed as going 'against' the HDB.

Calsifer - any idea how to word it objectively in that sense? I was speaking with Rebecca about it and she made the good point that it might be perceived to be biased because obviously people who buy these like cats.

Of course if we're trying to show that people who have cats want cats in flats, then that's the market we're aiming at. In that case, maybe not a survey, but asking them to send in letters - so there's no question of 'bias'.

Most of the time I find the cat house upside down. There is a lot of stalking and jumping. With the air-con on, a cat could sleep very comfortably in it on a pillow - but of course some other cat could dive in just when sleepy cat is about to doze off. One cat likes to chew on the "whiskers" but the green tail is ignored.

Dawn,
I think showing that people who like cats want cats in flats is the aim, so asking for them to send in the letters is it!

Looking at my original comment, I realised I was trying to come at it from two angles:
1) Get buyers to write to the gov about the cat ban
2) Gather info and spread the TNRM message.

Yeah, one stone, two birds... or more aptly, one audience, two messages? =P

Defintely a good idea to consider. May have to pick ONE message to go with at a time though :)

thanks for update Dawn. it is a pity they already have an arrangment with another organization. Calsifer's idea is really great. maybe when im back, i will keep a lookout for such items from other places and see if we can have something worked out for CWS : )
