The cats were left in the lift lobby. None of the families on that floor appear to have cats, nor do any of them know of their neighbours who do. Yet it's strange that they were left on the fifth floor.

Oh my GOD!!

I'm really sad seeing this! How could they!!

Even if they want to so-called dump.. haven't they heard of the Cat Welfare or SPCA? They can call up and ask on what they should do.. this is cruelty.. :(

There are 4 on the top cage and at least 6 on the bottom's.
The extreme right at the bottom cage (the skinny one) is very sick.

There are 12 - 5 in the top cage, 7 at the bottom. They are at the vet's now as the caregiver took them there. They are going to be sterilised. The caregiver is likely to release them back into some colonies because they don't look very adoptable - they're older cats.

i would rather set them free. at least they have a 50 - 50 chance of survival.

who is that horrible terrible cruel person who locked them up in tiny cages. imagine treating the cats like slaves and prisoners.

must find out who is that person and prosecute him.

this is frightening ...

would just lurve (note - not love) to interview the person who did this, find out his warped logic for doing this ...

i bet they haven't ... they also don't know who's the prime minister of s'pore ... nor their twelve x table ... they belong to that generation that missed out on education & good living standards ... they had lousy food so their brains werent nourished & they can't think straight ... so, do forgive them :-) ... the question is - how to educate them so such things don't happen again ...

Yes and the good news is that some people wrote in to say that they wanted to adopt the cats after the article came out in the New Paper today.
