Dumped cats

Dumped cats
Originally uploaded by dawnkua.

The fact that this person just threw out the cats, literally along with the furniture, was just worrying in the extreme. This person acts like the cats are mere commodities to be discarded at will.
The caregivers in the area who were alerted, SPCA and ourselves, as well as the police were all at the scene.

No idea - they weren't actually outside the TC office, sorry if there was confusion.

The caregivers in the area were alerted and went down and found them.

They are currently at the vet awaiting treatment. They'll be okay but are in poor condition.

Dawn - Any thoughts of alerting the HDB and point to them it's nonsensical policies that somehow resulted in such a treatment?

Anonymous - we're STILL awaiting their reply to their last letter.

these cats looked like slaves being squashed into tiny cages. so horrible. they were packed like sardines in a can. who is the person behind this? this is very cruel and we cannot tolerate this nonsense and cruelty act.

i would rather this person set the cats free than to lock them up in the tiny cages. any idea who is the owner?

Putting multiple cats in a cage for long period of time is not that uncommon. If the cats look like they are used to it, they are probably packed like that since they were kittens. The cats looked alike and are probably related. Community cats are a lot more fortunate than these cats.

Definitely - we have some idea, and the caregiver has passed the information to the police.
