Assuming it's the same person whose belongings were found in Pasir Ris (and the police officer told me today it was), and the cats were that person's, perhaps the person was in trouble and somehow had to get rid of the cats. Of course there are better ways to have handled the cats, but perhaps the person was desperate. Why the cats were in Pasir Ris though, remains a mystery.

Seletar stray cats are breeding becauses one guy feeds and doesn't sterilise. Saw more than 6 unsterilised cats wandering near one serial cat killer's place. Feeder gave money as the reason. At one time he said 2 dozens kittens just vanished. From cat dumping to breeding, they are all problematic.

Have you tried speaking to the feeder?

Hi Dawn, you will make a good private investigator. i think the person were trying to throw everyone off track by dumping the cats and belongings at Pasir Ris. i want to believe the 'dumper' hopes the cats will be rescued and provided for as one family and not have them separated. Most of all, i believe he/she may not have heard of CWS, plus the no cats rule in HDB may have subjected the dumper to such action. Based on evidence of loan shark activity, we can know the felines definitely have experienced much emotional fear, pain and stress. Poor cats. BTW, may be he/she does have someone living in the area where the dumping was found.

I really doubt it Mary :) Plus I do think there is some connection to Pasir Ris. I can't imagine someone would go to all the trouble to bring the cats halfway across the island and then to leave their identification right there.

Seriously, I'd love to leave this to the police to handle, but am quite worried about the lack of progress so far.
