Cat guarding the door

Cat guarding the door
Originally uploaded by dawnkua.

Doing paperwork today and yesterday.

I wanted to share this photo I took last night though. This tiny kitten was being the 'guard cat' for the shophouse above. He sat most regal and impassive and was doing a very bad job of looking intimidating!

When I stopped to take a photo (and to talk to him) some men behind me laughed and smiled at me.

That's a concept! He looks so adorable too, he's a threat, yes but only to my commitment ot bring home no more. :P

And not fazed by all the attention either - he took his job very seriously and only swished his tail and walked indoors when we left!

So cute!!

Whoever wants to rob the place will be bowled over by his cuteness. Great way to be a guard-cat.

Beieve it or not, I think my Teh Cee thinks she is a dog??!! Or maybe her past life was a dog...

Because when a delivery man or the postman knocks on the door or call at the gate, she will "meow meow meow" him, like how a dog would bark at strangers! Honest, Seriously!

The 1st time we all saw her doing that we all laugh until she kept looking at us, as if asking "What...?"

Definitely 1000x prettier and sweeter than some stone statues outside some homes! You have a cat lounging in your driveway, people would smile.... The usual stone decoration? No one would give a second look unless it is really ugly ; )
