Kitty in corridor

Kitty in corridor

Here he is - the center of the controvesy. This is the cat that is walking around in the block of flats. At least two families it seems are feeding it, and the problem is that he really is very friendly. He walked around with me for a good twenty minutes and several people (both those who liked cats, and those who didn't) said he walked into houses.

He also can apparently take the lift.

Clever kitty, can take lift! People around it must be loving it! But he should really understand that some people don't like it in the house. Sometimes being too friendly takes away the character of the cat, making it trusting therefore subjecting it to abuse.

profpig - you're right. Poor cat is going to be in trouble precisely because of his friendliness.

How nice if someone could adopt him, such a friendly cat.

I agree. It is actually more dangerous and even "life threatening" to the cat or kitten itself and they are too friendly and will approach any one, any person!

Because you never know what that person will do or treat the animal.

I rather the cat be very cautious of strangers and would stay away from people, and probably only familar and recognise the feeders only.

Hope this kitty will be in good hands soon, colour of the fur/coat again very similar to my T.C.

My block has a few cats, not sure if they are keep in or are just roaming community cats, although some of them have collars and bells round their necks.

There is this one black cat who also knows how to take the lift, better still, he, yes, a he, not scare of people, would take with them together, and he seems to know which floor he wants to go to, or rather, which floor to stop, always the top floor, then he will do his stroll along the corridors and walk floor by floor downwards.

ej - it's a tough life being a cat!

Actually the feeder now tells me that somebody in the area 'took him back' from another area. He's now wondering whether he is someone's pet and is trying to find out.
