TNRM workshop?

I'm just asking for a quick show to see whom might want a general TNRM workshop (ie not for a specific area)? Thanks to Lina, we have a list of room rental rates at the Libraries and we're thinking of seeing if we may be able to rent a room at one of the more central libraries to have a workshop. Would anyone be interested? This would probably be after Chinese New Year.

Capacity may be problem. I checked out the one nearby and their rooms can only hold 5 people tops. Rental is $6/hr. I've seen the room, even if there's only the 5 participants, there won't be enough elbow room for the trap demo. Plus there doesn't seem to be facilities for playing the dvds.

The main Library has large rooms that can hold up to 90. That's a possibility (not that I expect anywhere close to 90 people to show up!).

Oh, then that would solve quite some logistics.

Dawn,

NUS alumni house at Kent Ridge has rooms for rent for free for alumni members. You can check out Saffron room, can hold 144 in a cosy auditorium. Just need two weeks advance notice and I believe the location is easy to find.

Thanks E_Cat. I expect that may not be so convenient for people coming from the east though. I was thinking of possibly the library at Orchard or the main one - those seem the most central.
