ST (23-2-07)

Nice response to yesterday's forum letter. Interestingly though, the response has gone back into the online forum. I'm not sure what qualifies a letter for the online section and which into the print, but it does make it hard for people who may only read the print to understand what's going on and I am sure there are quite a few of those people around.

It's really very unfair that most letters regarding cat issues are not in print and worse when the ones from people like Mr. Heng are and then the reply ends up online...sigh!

i think ST has to learn how to manage the fact that they have both online and print forum pages. they have to understand that there should be a "flow" in letters and responses, else their readers will not be able to have a complete picture of the issues discussed.

perhaps their subscribers can give them teh necessary feedback.

i totally agree with this letter. people need to experience having pets in order to appreciate and understand wat its like to have one. like my mum for example, she wasnt much of an animal person even tho we have our cat. but ever since my cat started getting all cuddly and manja with her, she loves animals now

My brother who was fastidious abt cleanliness and order sweared he'd never have animals in the house. He now has 3 cats and is a much relaxed, happier person. He is 54 and old dogs can learn new tricks. He's learned a lot from the ctas!
