Care to comment?
This guy wrote in again and sent me a photo of 25 pieces of small kibble which he found on the floor. He also sent me a photo of a cat sitting on the window ledge of a block opposite his, both of which he thoughtfully blew up for me. He wrote 'Care to comment"? He asked if that was a responsible cat feeder and if it was safe to have a cat on the ledge for the cat and for the 'public'.
I wrote back to say no it wasn't responsible if the person didn't come back to pick up. I told him we don't support littering in ANY form (whether it be drink cans, soiled sanitary napkins, packet drinks or cat food) - and we always encourage people to keep cats in. I said that if he had read any of our literature (which I emailed and some of which I dropped by his home), he would have realised this has always been our stand.
