Here's the front of the pillar - and a fact that we brought up at the meeting today, that every year 13000 cats are put to death in Singapore. This has been happening for more than 20 years so that works out to more than a quarter of a MILLION cats.

This message is loud and clear!
Makes one think - 'this really happened in my country'?

The holocaust of cats! It this what we want our taxes to be used for? Please speak for the cats. No one else will! Write to PM, MP, CEOs of your town councils, your RC chair-people. It is your right to ask that your contribution to the town council and your taxes be used for sterilisation instead of killing them.

In Buddhism, this translates to 1/4 million sentient beings being killed in SG. We don't classify cats as inferior animals but on par with us humans. Just that they have taken a bad rebirth due to heavy past karma.
