TC called

The officer from this estate called a while ago and said that the town council has spoken with the officer. The officer in question has apparently said he would like to apologise in person to the caregivers. According to the officer I spoke with, the officer in question is a feeder himself.

The TC would also meet with the residents to deal with their concerns. I'm glad that they've seen that it makes sense to talk to their residents instead of through CWS. Now it's up to the caregivers to decide if this is acceptable to them.

That's what I was told by the officer who called me.

Not only it is a decent thing to do, it is also professional for TC to apologise. A sincere apology and a written note stating such atrocity against community cats should not be repeated and those caught will be punished by the law.

Or is it a case for TC to find out identity of feeder and maybe later, go after her for keeping
cats at home? Be wary.

I would suggest feeder be ' protected' at this time. What is wrong with issuing a note of apology?

I have heard this one before, they always say they are feeders or animal lovers... ask TC officer where does he feed the cats?

I should add when I mentioned this to the group of residents on Monday, people laughed.

They obviously know the feeder as she goes about feeding on a daily basis. A written note of apology and an admission of error provides legal evidence.

Unbelievable fiction. How can a feeder order a cat be sufficated in a gunny sack and later be ciulled at AVA? Evil deed is bad enough, now a silly lie?

We want people of integrity to run the estate.

The TC already has a list of the areas where the caregivers manage, but no full address. They already have all the identities of the caregivers and have had them for quite a while.

They mentioned it was a different estate.

Heard before that when feeder's cat were culled, Mr Mah Bow Tan said his cat was also culled...
the psycologically, the feeder felt shocked and could not believe Mr Mah had community cats.

I think the guy who insisted on having a cat trap in garden, who was featured in GET REAL, also said he was animal lover. Amazing way to love cats!

what the hell is this dawn? i don't think i accept the fact that this guy is a feeder himself and he still abuses the cat by putting the cat into gunny sack. how can such thing happen. how can he be a feeder??????? is he fit to become one?? are you sure or not? i do not care he is not fit to be a cat lover not fit to feed the cat when he tries to abuse a cat. is he a pervert or what? he is just a amateur town council officer.

Felineandi - as I mentioned, this was what I was told. I cannot verify the veracity of it.

If I were the caregiver I would insist on a written note of apology, otherwise there would be no way to prove that this incident ever occurred, nor would there be any way to stop it from happening again.

I suspect this guy used food to lure/trap cats for culling. He must have boasted how the cats would come to him when he pretend to feed them.

A true stray feeder feeds out of love and concern for the cats. Even during thunderstorm, they would still be out feeding the cats for fear they would be hungry.

Cat killer uses cat food to lure the cat to a death trap.

Really cannot uderstand the way some people 'love' the cats! I have known a feeder, as well as an active rescuer who will surrender old age or sick cat to SPCA. Reason given is because she 'love' them so much and do not want to see them suffer. So to save the vet fee as well! Also knew of a cat owner, who has called AVA to cull the strays just because she 'love' them so much and do not want them to starve or knock down by car.

This kind of logic, let me kill you because I don't want you to suffer is usually found in suicidal related crimes.
Culling institutions use this line of reasoning for mass destruction. They see it as mercy killing. I call them bloody hypocites.
