Kissing noses

Kissing noses

E_Cat, Rebecca and I went to see the cats in this case today. The good news is that they look much better in general. They have put on weight. They were active and playing and all of them (except two) were let out of their cages.

The bad news was the the woman wanted to give them away at first. She said she found it hard to cope and she wanted to give us all the cats. We explained that we are not a shelter. She also asked if she could give them to other people. We pointed out that she should be careful whom she gives them to in that she should make sure they go to good homes. She also agreed releasing them was not good as there were dogs in the area sometimes.

Eventually we asked her to consider adoption. She agreed. We asked what she would do with the cats that cannot be adopted and she said she would keep them. Big sigh of relief.

and is she going to keep them inside cages, inside her toilet (again)??????????????????????????!
dawn, if the situation eventually is that she is going to keep the cats (until they are adopted, if ever), can we monitor that the cats will not be imprisoned in hellcages and helltoilets? i am willing to assist her defray some costs for keeping the cats by regular sponsorship of food and litter until her financial state improves from the current. we can work it out on a monthly basis. as long as yourself and rebecca has check and ok this case to be genuine, we can work out the daily needs of the cats. I will send the cat food and litter to her doorstep every month - no questions asked. Please let me know, thanks. - orange-

that's is good to know. i'm relieved. BUT please do not hesitate to let me know if she reverts to caging her cats again; for whatever reasons. if some financial assistance can stop this caging-torture, i am ready to help these sorry cats. btw, does she need a bigger cage? - orange -

Orange - thanks. I think it's safer not to give her another cage though.
