Dawn, you mentioned in the Pets Magazine that you met scary difficult person .... someone approached you and say cats don't pay income tax.
This reminded me of my encounter with the police, who supposedly know the law. When I made a complaint on cat abandoned when the cat owner moved house, the police not aware that pet abandonment is a crime, and asked me a sillier question "is the cat having a license"? Jeepers! Since when cats wearing a license, I told the police, and I added that it is compulsory for dogs to wear a valid license, but we don't have law that cats must wear license like in USA.
Muahaha! I laughed at the ignorance from the people who supposedly know the law (i.e. the police).
If you need stories for a "cat" book, you can get it from us cat caregivers anytime. Proceeds of the book can be directed to CWS stray cats sterilisation project.
Don't hesitate to ask, I be glad to help share my experiences.

Notice a marked absence of letters and write-up on animal issues in TODAY since the editorship has changed?
