Spay Day response surprise

We've been getting vet replies for Spay Day and as always, most of the vets have been very quick to reply and very generous in their assistance. Today though, we received one reply that had me blinking in disbelief as the vet clinic offered to do in excess of 50 cats in one day! Rebecca is going to be calling and checking to make sure that they know that it is on one day.

Of course it is possible to do that number if you have a very experienced team and more than one vet - but this vet clinic would account for most of the slots if it is the case!

apologies to hjack your thread but I cannot understand how on one hand you all at CWS are doing a good job in sterlizing cats and on the other hand we have home owners breeding their cats and worse of all.. other cat owners praising them.... Just cannot stand it!

Anonymous - as much as I hope people will not breed and will adopt instead, at least I hope if they breed their own home cats that they intend to look after their cats and intend to do so for the rest of the cats' lives. Perhaps some people may feel their cats have certain characteristics that are so special they want that to carry on in the next generation (though an affectionate cat might have a very grouchy kitten).

However there WILL come a point when there are too many cats being born and I sincerely hope the owner will have sterilised long before that point arises.

50 cats in one day! Wow.
