Cat in carpark

Cat in carpark
Originally uploaded by dawnkua.

I just got back a short while ago from a meeting - the complaint was that this cat (along with three others, all of them sterilised) were loitering in the carpark. I spoke with the management and they agreed that most people did not complain, but they had two persistent complainants who kept complaining. I asked if I could speak with them directly to see what the issue was - one of the complainants said the cats sleep on his car.

Hope he loses his job and sleeps in the dumps. No car, no complaint.

Yes the people who get so stressed out about cars makes one think that perhaps if they DIDN'T have cars, they would be less upset.

It is time carparks put up a sign that clearly spells out "NO RESPONSIBILITES FOR ANY DAMAGE ON YOUR DAMN CAR INCLUDING THE PRESENCE OF CATS!!"

Actually Anonymous - most DO put up those signs. People however think that if the cats are gone then there won't be an issue. I was told that residents might complain because it is a private carpark - I told them cats are everywhere and it's just not possible to say you don't want any cats. If you think about it, cats really don't respect any socio-economic boundaries, they really can be found everywhere :)

Is the car park management going to remove the cats?

They're going to get the complainant to call me. If that works out they have no problem leaving the cats there but I've been told several times that he is 'difficult'

Years ago, my friend's car hit a poor deer and I was upset about the injured deer than the damage to the car.

Men who are worried about some fur, paw prints and scratches to their car treat cars as their master, they lose sense of being a larger being.

Maybe carparks should display Beware of Robbery, Murder, Theft Arson, Rape etc.
and Leave the cats alone...
