School Talk and TNRM

I'm heading out for a school talk now. The teachers are hoping to start up a TNRM programme in the school so all the school administration as well as the students will be there. I hope it goes well!

This is really good! I hope more schools will have a TNRM talk and more students will be more aware about cat welfare in Singapore.

Good luck Dawn! :)

Hope the talk goes well...

My friend's school has a ginger cat, one of the teachers paid for his sterilisation recently.
School is a good place to start TNR programme and be counted for the ECA social work points, whatever you call it.

Whenever you go for school talk, do you bring a cat with you? In my childhood days during SPCA school talks, they brought a friendly dog. Kids love it.

Anonymous - that's great to hear.

No Aminah we don't. As you know, cats don't do well in strange environments with lots of people, unlike dogs and will freak out. Also our talks focus very much on sterilisation and TNRM and so we try and ask the students about THEIR school cats. Every school I've visited have them.

After listening to the benefits of neutering, hope the kids will go home and ask their parents to get their pets de-sexed too. :)

Great to know dat there r schools teaching e right values to young kids/teens.Dat is to have compassion towards our animals.
Otherwise some children might have a bad influence from parents who dislike animals. And grow up hating animals as well.
