Here are the students at the workshop I just gave. They want to start a programme on their school grounds which is a great idea.

i notice that when CWS gives talks in schools, the students are always very receptive and keen to start TNRM programs, create cat cafes and such.

that of course is wonderful, but aside from the immediate benefits, i think the more impt thg is that the concept of caring for community cats is introduced to them while they are young and impressionable. hopefully, these ideas will take root and grow so that the kids will continue to take care of needy animals as adults.

SPCA gives great talks to Primary School kids and so we focus on the older ones. Speaking about community cats to very young children, it was a bit hard to explain sterilisation and at least one school got very antsy because I used the word 'mating'.

Good to give talks on caring for our cats, dogs, rabbits, etc.
Because some children are brought up by parents who don't like animals, and will learn e wrong things fr such selfish parents.
