Animal Blessings

A nice article on Pet Blessing for World Animal Day in Baltimore. We have similar events in Singapore at one church I know of and there are probably more!

Speaking of food chains, how about TNRM for rats? Could the ruthless daily killing of these poor misunderstood creatures be stopped too? and speaking of blessings, surely, they're God's creatures too?

How about setting up a rat welfare society then ramarama? I must confess I don't know very much about rats and we kind of have our hands full with the cats right now.

No, no - this was not a suggestion for the CWS - sorry if it sounded that way. In the spirit of celebrating world animal day, it was just a rhetorical question/thought - about how many societies (or almost all, really?) think it ok to get rid of (or even to raise just to kill and eat) some animals but not others. The video is quite touching.

Yes it is - and I didn't take it that way. However you have mentioned this several times and it sounds dear to your heart - perhaps you might consider starting a society?
