Cat Found!

Cat Found!
Originally uploaded by dawnkua.

Two wonderful blog readers, Meow and Adrian, read the post about the cat on a leash and went by to see if they could find the cat - and they did!

They say that the cat is doing very well and is a lovely cat. They bathed him with no problem and will foster him till he gets adopted. They'll send photos later and it would be great if everyone could help them get the word out that the cat needs a home too.

I had looked around for the cat but it wasn't there and when I asked the woman, she said the cat did come back from time to time. Meow and Adrian found him at the same spot when they went by. Ironically it seems there really was no need to have put him on a leash as it appears he would have returned of his own free will.

This is a lucky little cat. It seems several people have been keeping an eye on him including Meow & Adrian, AC-B8 and Aunty P among others!

Great news for the lucky kitty. It's a wonder he's easily bathed. After 10 years, our resident old coots Teddy and Bam Bam, still protest like they're being put through the grinder when they get sudded. =(

From the picture, seems like the old man is still around. But I thought I read somewhere that he was taken away by the police?

And, if the old man is still around, is he wiiling to give the cat up for adoption?

Yes and I'm glad to hear from YOU that he was sterilised! Good work to the person who convinced the man to let the cat be sterilised!

Free at last. I think some of us feel like the leash is taken off our own necks!

Thanks for including me as a 'look-out'. We tried playing with him about 2 wks back but he was more interested in his nap.Hope he finds a good home soon.

Glad to hear cat on leash is now free at last. Been following his saga from kitten on a leash to adult cat on a leash. Also nice to know he's neutered. What happen to his "owner" after his release from jail ... he would be frantic looking for his beloved cat. It wouldn't surprise me if the owner take another cat and put it on a leash ... oh no, not again! Horros!

Dear meow, thank you for being a kind and generous soul in fostering that kitty. He is very handsome!

I just hope the man doesn't do the same thing to yet another kitty when he's released..
