For a cat that has lived outdoors all his life so far, he seems cut out to be a instant domesticated cat...such a sweet boy. Btw, is the poor, homeless uncle in jail now?

He is indeed very lucky!

jules no idea - someone emailed me to say they knew some one in touch with the man and he's in an eldercare facility, though I'm not sure if this is the case. Someone is trying to get his number.

poor guy, surely he can live longer and better if there are cats at the Eldercare facility.
The kitten on the string has given the guy a sense of friendship.

Anonymous I don't know that he actually is in a home. I've also been told he's in jail. Hopefully someone will be able to find out where he actually is.

belle,

He's a domesticated cat inside a street cat's body. Same as my Princess who spend her last 4 years as an unspayed street cat until I brought her home. She loves nothing more than to lie in m laps as I sayang her. She has a big hunger for love.

Hope cat on string stays with his foster's home on a permanent basis.
He seems grateful to be in a secure and loving home.

Speaking from the point of how I see my cat as my son, I pray that the homeless chap will be told that kitty is in good hands, I'm sure he is worried about the cat wherever he is, unless of course he is very sure his 'neighbours' will help looking after kitty.

koratmao - the problem is no one knows where he is. Another person called me on Friday to say that she wanted to call the main police station to ask about him. Unfortunately he did not tell any of us his full name.

then i think we probably could leave a word with the shopkeepers around the make-shift area he puts up, he's sure to go back there and ask around once he's released.

That's what this lady was asking - she knows some of the shopkeepers there.

Yes the cat needs a new and happier life just like my Princess is having now and loves nothing more than snoozing in my laps. And she was a feral tabby....
